We had a perfect Easter weekend! We spent a beautiful morning at the zoo for their Easter event. We haven't been in a while, so it was a great time for everyone! Plus, they had treat stations around the zoo for the kids to fill up their baskets. Breanna thought this was awesome! Then we went to our church's Saturday evening service, which was great. After we came home and dyed our Easter eggs. The next day was Easter and when Breanna woke up the Easter Bunny had filled her basket and hidden her eggs. She thought it was a perfect day when she got to have a piece of chocolate before breakfast! It was fun watching her hunt for her eggs this year! She would gasp and get so excited for every single egg she found! We then spent a relaxing day at home as a family enjoying the gift of Jesus' resurrection. When you ask Breanna why we celebrate Easter she will say, "Because Jesus died and then lived again." It's kind of a basic answer, but it cuts right to the heart of it!
