Florida

Not long after our "long date" the 3 of us took a vacation to visit with Nana and Granddad in Destin, Florida.  We spent a wonderful week with my parents, and we couldn't have asked for better weather! 

Breanna loved the beach again!  She had a great time playing in the sand and jumping the waves in the gulf. 

 

We went for a short "hike" at one of the state parks:

We enjoyed Nana and Granddad's "hot tub" and pool.  (We only heated the hot tub to bath water temps so Breanna could get in.) 

We fed the fish, ducks, and seagulls:

 

We went to a science museum:

Breanna baked cookies with Nana while Mommy and Daddy went on a date:

 

We waded in the water and looked for hermit crabs at Jolee Island:

 

We enjoyed golf cart rides:

We had dinner with Mimi (Breanna's great grandmother)

 We played at the kids play area where Breanna discovered her love for tire swings:

 We went to the wharf for their weekly concert and danced till our feet hurt:

We couldn't have asked for a better week!  When we left, we told Breanna we would see Nana and Granddad again at Christmas.  For the next several days and now randomly she will ask if it's Christmas yet.  We had a great time!
