We had a fantastic time in Florida! We went stayed at Nana and Grandad's along with Aunt Debbie, Uncle Ryan, and Cousin Evan. To say Breanna liked the beach would be an understatement. She enjoyed the ocean the first day we were there when the water was calm and there were small waves. We went a couple days with bigger waves and she was not as excited about getting in the water. Give her some some sand toys and a bucket of water though, and she was happy as a clam!
She LOVED playing in her baby pool! We tried to get her in the big pool a couple times, but just like last time she was not happy about it. She didn't cry this time, but she just kept reaching to get out. She did enjoy walking and playing on the steps into the pool though.
Breanna had a blast with her cousin Evan, and wanted to be a big kid like him!
We went to a playground a couple nights that also has a huge "fountain" that comes from the ground and sprays in patterns that the kids can play in. Breanna had a blast at the playground and just wanted to be able to run free and climb on everything. When she saw the fountain she was beyond excited and was appalled that I would make her wait to put her swimsuit on. But, when she actually got to the water she wasn't crazy about how hard it sprayed and mostly watched the other kids.
The kids also had a good time feeding the "ducks." They were very strange looking, almost like a mix between a duck, rooster, and turkey. I was afraid one of them was going to try to nip Breanna because she has no fear of animals and runs right up to them to pet.
We enjoyed spending some time with my grandmother, Mimi. She had fun watching the kids and got some sweet kisses from both of them!
We even got some great family photos!
We had a great family vacation, and are eagerly looking forward to our next one!
